The Nottingham has procured the tf cloud solution to support the creation of a new in house Facilities Help Desk.
Founded in 1849, The Nottingham is a top ten building society operating online and via its network of over 40 branches across nine counties. The Society is well-known for providing a safe and secure place for people’s savings and helping its members into their own homes. More recently The Nottingham has been developing its digital savings capabilities with new platform, Beehive Money.
As part of the contract with The Technology Forge, The Nottingham is utilising tf cloud modules covering Property, Plant, Help Desk, Inspections, Contracts, Estates, Questionnaire, Fire Risk, Legionella and Utility. A key requirement of The Nottingham was to be able to provide access to three major groups of users; branch & head office staff, suppliers (to upload information) and management / administration staff (to edit and control data). To manage this process, The Nottingham are utilising the dedicated Contractor Portal for suppliers to upload relevant data and the Self-Serve Portal to provide controlled access to key data for light touch users.
The Technology Forge has provided comprehensive implementation services as part of the contract including project management, consultancy and training. The partnership approach adopted, in regards to the implementation, saw the tf cloud system go live just 12 weeks after the project kick-off meeting.
Mark Wardman, Managing Director of The Technology Forge comments:
“I would like to welcome The Nottingham to our tf cloud user base which consists of a wide variety of major private and public sector organisations, all with mutual needs to manage their valuable estates. We look forward to working with The Nottingham in the coming months and years.”
Tim Neal, Senior Manager – Estates & Facilities of Nottingham Building Society comments:
“A key component underpinning our decision to bring FM in house was the sourcing of a reliable, efficient and innovative partner to supply our core management system. We have operated for the past 6 months in a labour-intensive and manual manner as we were determined to ensure that we selected the right partner and then to ensure that we implemented effectively."
From day one, the partnership has been very collaborative, with TF project managers working with our internal operational team to shape delivery in line with our evolving requirements. Early feedback from users has been overwhelmingly positive with comments on the intuitive feel and ease of use. We are continuing to develop how we use the system and are excited about the benefits that this will bring to the Society.”
