The London Borough of Redbridge is based in North East London and has a population of almost 300,000. The administrative headquarters are based in Ilford and the borough is known for its green space, award winning parks, transport links and high performing schools.
The Council had a requirement for an asset management system which would meet the needs of the core property service teams; Facilities Management, Asset Management and Building Services.
London Borough of Redbridge procured tf cloud using the Government G-Cloud 7 framework which provided a cost effective route to market. The Borough joins other public sector organisations which have procured tf cloud via the framework including Thames Valley Police, West Lindsey District Council, Scottish Fire and Rescue and Central Bedfordshire Council.
Over the coming weeks we will be implementing the tf cloud system which will include modules for property, condition survey, asbestos survey, inspections, help desk and estates. We are also providing handheld apps to deliver comprehensive access to the system across the Council.
Matthew Essex, Operational Director Regeneration & Property at London Borough of Redbridge comments:
"The Council reviewed a number of Asset Management Systems as part of its options appraisal and concluded that tf cloud provides a cost effective solution that meets our requirements. We look forward to working with the TF project team and implementing the software over the coming weeks".
Mark Wardman, Managing Director of The Technology Forge comments:
"I would like to give a warm welcome to London Borough of Redbridge which joins ten other London Borough clients using our software to manage their estates. With approaching 50% of the London Boroughs as clients, we have further cemented our place as the market leader in the capital".
