Local Gov to Save £670m via 'Digital by Default'

Local Government is expecting to save £670m during 2015 by embracing the Digital by Default agenda. The Public Sector Channel Shift Strategies Survey Report 2015 by GOSS Interactive has revealed that moving to online channels such as web and social media is expected to save public sector organisations around £1.75m each next year, an increase of 250% from 2014.


Additionally, respondents revealed that mobile web (42%), desktop web (22%) and social media (12%) are the channels that can deliver the most savings to their organisations.
