Hertfordshire County Council

Hertfordshire County Council (HCC), a client for over 10 years, has signed a new contract with The Technology Forge which could see the Council using the system until 2018. The contract is to provide our hosted asset management system, tf facility, for a minimum of 2 years with the option to extend the contract by a further 2 years.

HCC has expanded its use of tf facility over the years and now uses the system to manage all areas of its large property estate. This predominantly comprises operational property including schools, fire stations, libraries, care homes, day care centres, children's centres, children's homes, family centres etc.

Patrick Wray, Property Information & Intelligence Unit Manager at Hertfordshire County Council comments:

"For over a decade tf facility has helped meet the vast property data needs of the HCC property department on an estate worth over £2.3bn. The standard of support provided by The Technology Forge has been excellent. Looking forward over the next few years, we expect to migrate to the new tf cloud product to reduce costs and make our property data even more accessible to in-house staff, contractors and consultants."

Mark Wardman, Managing Director at The Technology Forge comments:

"We are pleased to continue our long term relationship with Hertfordshire County Council and support its property function going forward. This long lasting contract, which could see the Council partner with TF for over 15 years, is testament to the quality of TF's software, support and services."
