Founded in 1872, the GDST has a long history of pioneering innovation in the education of girls. It is the leading group of independent girls' schools in the UK, with nearly 4,000 staff and 20,000 students between the ages of three and 18. As a charity that owns and runs a family of 24 schools and two academies in England and Wales, it reinvests all its income in its schools.
To manage this significant and longstanding property portfolio, the GDST has selected the tf cloud system to conduct a range of compliance and asset management activities. Modules procured include Property, Plant, Condition Survey, Asbestos Survey, Inspections, Help Desk, GIS and CAD. Additionally, we will be implementing web portal access for schools, consultants and contractors, allowing them to access parts of the system which are relevant to their roles and properties.
Christine Sillis, Estates Director at the Girls' Day School Trust comments:

Their extensive experience in the delivery of cloud-based solutions means they are well-placed to provide integral services on our unique sites up and down the country."
Mark Wardman, Managing Director of The Technology Forge comments:
"We are excited to welcome GDST as our latest client and user of tf cloud. With such a prestigious background in education, spanning well over a century, we are delighted to be helping the GDST manage its comprehensive asset portfolio and ensure compliance across the estate".
