SIA has over fifteen years experience of providing successful Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to a wide range of market sectors. Solutions are based on dataMAP, a highly functional Windows GIS product, renowned for its functionality, ease of use and speed. It is a cost-effective solution that can be used alone, though the majority of clients implement multi-user dataMAP systems via PC networks.

dataMAP uses computerised mapping to add a visual dimension to a client's database information, via a dynamic link. It enables data to be viewed and manipulated in a geographic context against a variety of map backdrops, enabling fast spatial analysis not possible otherwise.

dataMAP is developed, sold and supported directly by SIA. This means that SIA is able to meet specific requirements that an organisation may have and if necessary create bespoke software, or just sell specific components of a solution. As part of our strategy we concentrate on niche markets and by working closely with clients and suppliers from each sector, we are able to develop a true understanding of the needs and wants of that niche.
