Trust The Technology Forge
The Learning Trust in Hackney, London has selected tf. facility as its Education Asset Management system. The Trust is the not-for-profit company which runs all the education services for the London Borough of Hackney - schools, day nurseries, play service and adult education.
The Learning Trust required an effective information management system that would enable all its various AMP data sources, including CAD, Condition, Suitability and Sufficiency survey data to be integrated and synchronized effectively. The Trust was also looking to support schools via the web. In meeting these requirements, tf. facility would enable it to deliver an effective Asset management plan and fulfil DfES requirements.
Mr Andres Shoman – Asset Management Officer (data) comments; ‘After evaluating the system against the Learning Trust AMP requirements, we found tf.facility to be the most usable and adaptable solution. Apart from the technical evaluation, the Technology forge staff have been very supportive throughout the initial phases of the project, providing practical assistance when required.
The Learning Trust has found The Technology Forge to be most helpful from initial phases of the project through to implementation, and we aim to develop a strong working partnership. I personally look forward to applying the tf. facility application to support our schools through efficient and cost-effective asset management, thereby contributing to raising educational standards’.
The Trust’s initial contact with The Technology Forge was made at PCS Expo (Property Computer Show) in October 2004. We will be exhibiting at this year’s event, the biggest of its kind in the UK, on October 18th – 19th at the Business Design Centre, Islington so do pay us a visit at Stand 273.
