PSPE London February 2008
The Technology Forge were exhibiting at the QEII at the annual Public Service Property and Estates show in February. Organised by Public Service Events, the event was open to delegates with an interest in public sector property and asset management in the UK. The day featured a range of breakout seminars, including a discussion on Success Factors in Implementing a New AMP System from The Technology Forge’s Adam Watson.
 
Pillar User Groups
The Technology Forge were pleased to sponsor the Pillar regional user groups focusing on feedback from the DCSF, strategy for change, capital investment and a selection of workshop sessions.
 
GovNet & PSPE Glasgow
The Technology Forge were pleased to present seminars at both GovNet London and PSPE Glasgow. The joint seminars, with KEL Computing, examined how investing in asset management and valuation software can benefit strategic property management. A total of over 100 people came to the seminars across the two events.
 

Collaboration Award
We are pleased to announce that Catherine Tallis of Mace has won a Collaboration Award for her work with Hertfordshire County Council and the implementation of The Technology Forge's Asset Management System. Catherine was particularly praised for creating "a rarely seen level of collaboration" between council departments and external partners.

Scottish Seminar 2007
The Technology Forge recently hosted its 5th Annual Seminar dedicated to Scottish public sector organisations. Presentations were given by The Technology Forge, CADmeleon, KEL Computing and MACE Ltd. Feedback from the day was very positive with delegates stating the presentations were extremely relevant in driving their Asset Management Plans forwards.

2007 London User Group...
The Technology Forge is looking forward to the User Group on Thursday, 4th October. It promises to be the largest event in our history with 90 delegates confirmed. As exciting will be the prize draw during which an iPOD Nano will be presented to the lucky respondee to the recent Client Satisfaction Survey.

Public Sector Property & Estates Show
The Technology Forge Limited will be exhibiting at this years PSPE (Public Sector Property & Estates) show April 3rd. An established part of the property management year, the 2007 event will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre on April 3. Since this conference series started, the role of the property asset manager has received increasing attention within all sectors of the public estate.

Recent market research reveals that The Technology Forge Limited devotes as much to Research & Development as the combined turnover of several of its competitors.
 

0-100 in 8 years!
The Technology Forge has overtaken it's competitors as the largest supplier to its core market with market research confirming that more Councils use tf. facility than any other software package. The Technology Forge now has 92 customers, the largest number of which are local authorities. This year will see The Technology Forge pass the landmark 100 customers.

 

tf. facility 3 release
This month sees the release of the next version of the marketing leading asset management software solution, tf. facility 3. In addition to six brand new modules extra features have been added throughout the system and several new web modules will be brought on line.

 

Start as you mean to go on...
New contracts awarded...the beginning of the year has seen a sprint out of the blocks with new contracts from Chester Le Street Council and Preston City Council. In addition we expect to announce at least three newly awarded contracts next month.
