Rugby Borough Council’s vision for a more accessible, integrated asset management system is soon to be realised through the procurement of tf. facility. A thorough evaluation of the market was completed, following which Rugby Borough Council selected tf. facility as their chosen solution. tf. facility will enable Rugby to achieve their aspirations of more effective service provision, improved decision making capabilities, streamlined processed and proactive service delivery.
Raj Chand, Acting Head of Customer and Information Services, describes Rugby’s requirements “The Council was looking for an integrated Asset Management and Capital Accounting system, which was SORP (Standard of recommended practice) compliant and worked within CIPFA guidelines. The new system will replace a number of fragmented systems and in some cases manual work and allow the Council to join up Corporate Properties, Asset Management and Capital Accounting and lead to more efficient working methods.”
In addition to being SORP compliant it was also imperative that the chosen software integrated with Innogistic GIS and had proven reactive maintenance capabilities. Modules purchased by Rugby include Condition Survey module, Disability Access Audit, Hazard Register, Planned Preventative Maintenance with Plant Register, Estates Management, Valuations with Capital Accounting, Finance module and Utility Register.
Adam Watson, Sales Director, The Technology Forge remarks “Being Welsh I feel a certain affinity with the birth place of my favourite sport. So it’s especially gratifying that Rugby Borough Council have chosen to invest in our solutions. Key to this selection was our track record, commitment to complying with SORP and providing the best match to their comprehensive requirements. Now the exciting part begins and we’re very much looking forward to helping Rugby Borough Council realise their goals.”
Raj Chand, adds “Rugby Borough Council has recently awarded the contract for delivery of an integrated Corporate Properties, Asset Management and Capital Accounting system to Technology Forge. The Council hopes to be able to streamline its processes, and gain the full benefit of using the functionality within the system to its fullest, and looks forward to working in partnership with Technology Forge on implementation.”
We look forward to developing a successful working relationship with Rugby Borough Council and enabling them to achieve their aspirations of more effective service provision, improved decision making capabilities, streamlined processes and proactive service delivery.
