Another Scottish Authority Opts for TF
“East Ayrshire Council, Educational and Social Services Department is delighted to enter into this contract with The Technology Forge to provide our Asset Management System” says Euan Couperwhite, Head of Resource Support.
The award of contract to The Technology Forge follows a formal evaluation of the AMP system market, by which a total of 11 suppliers were invited to tender. East Ayrshire Council were looking to select a system to consolidate the various fragments of information held in different locations in different formats and to assist managers in producing options and appraise them. In short, the system would enable the Council to form programmes and strategies to develop the School Estate.
To this end, the fully integrated tf. facility configuration will comprise the Core Framework, Condition Survey module with handheld capability, Suitability and Sufficiency Survey modules, Estates Management and Project Management modules. The system will also carry the benefits of being web enabled. Interested third parties, such as headteachers, will have a read only view on their AMP data via the internet.
