The Council was formed in 1974 and covers the towns of East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. The district covers 128 square miles and has a population of around 125,000 and a wide variety of property assets.
The tf cloud package that the Council has procured includes the Core Property Register as well as modules to manage estates, hazard and surveys, facilities management, grounds maintenance and capital accounting. We are also implementing a contractor portal allowing the District's contractors to see work allocated to them and update their jobs over the web.
Sheila Harris, Senior Information Governance Officer at Mid Sussex District Council comments:
"tf cloud will give us a much improved system for all aspects of property management. With better performance reporting, improved financial management and an easier system for management of maintenance inspections we believe we will see huge benefits for the Property and Asset Maintenance Team who manage the Council's land and property assets. As we have also purchased the Grounds Maintenance Module, we are looking to see similar benefits realised in the management of parks and open spaces for our Landscapes Team."
We will be implementing the tf cloud system at Mid Sussex District Council over the coming weeks and months.
Mark Wardman, Managing Director of The Technology Forge comments:
