The Council joins an ever growing list of The Technology Forge’s clients which have utilised this pioneering framework.
Elmbridge is located in Surrey with towns including Esher, Walton-on-Thames and Weybridge and borders fellow tf cloud users Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. The Borough covers an area of 37.2 square miles and has a population of 132,700 across 56,800 households. The Council’s property portfolio comprises leisure centres, community centres, civic centre, car parks, non-operational sites, various land holdings and more.
The Council decided to look for a property and asset management system to manage its significant estate under one integrated solution. G-Cloud 9 provided a suitable procurement route for the Authority as it meant they could thoroughly evaluate the market whilst running a compliant and cost effective procurement process.
The initial contract is for 2 years and over the coming months The Technology Forge will be implementing tf cloud featuring functionality for property, reporting, condition survey, estates, valuations, acquisitions, disposals, billing, CAD and GIS.
Nikki Benge ICT Business Manager, at Elmbridge Borough Council comments:
“Elmbridge Borough Council has spent a long time reviewing the market for a property management system that both meets requirements and is cost effective. tf cloud ticks all the boxes and we are looking forward to working with the project team to implement a solution that will help streamline the management our growing property portfolio”.
Mark Wardman, Managing Director of The Technology Forge comments:
