TF Wins Fourth Scottish Contract
We are pleased to announce that East Ayrshire Council has awarded The Technology Forge a second contract to supply Asset Management software, this time for Corporate AMP purposes. tf. facility is already being implemented for Education Asset Management by the Educational and Social Services Department.
Iain Edenborough, Senior Surveyor at the Council comments:
“East Ayrshire Council, having undertaken a lengthy tendering process, is delighted to announce that it has purchased tf. facility and associated modules from The Technology Forge and are looking forward to working in partnership with them to develop the software, with a view to providing an efficient and comprehensive asset management service for the Council. Following a detailed tender specification process and evaluation, TF was deemed to best fit the Council’s requirements both in terms of functionality and price.”
The contract, our fourth Scottish client, reaffirms The Technology Forge’s commitment to assisting Scottish Local Government asset managers in improving the Council estate. Such is the focus of our AMP seminar held annually in Scotland. This year’s seminar will be held on the 7th September 2006 in Stirling and as well as providing invaluable insights into asset management best practice, both Scottish and English authority asset managers will share the challenges of introducing a single integrated solution. Topics include:
- Implementing TF - a ‘warts and all’ overview: Fife Council
- Prioritising Spending: M 2 Estates Management Consultants
- Systems Consolidation on Procuring a Single Integrated Solution: North Somerset Council.
