Regional Seminars 2010
We are hosting 5 regional seminars in Bristol, London, Leeds and Manchester throughout February and March 2010. Places are still available for Manchester and the second London seminar.
These informative days will include powerful and topical presentations alongside interactive sessions; plus you will experience the latest exciting software developments. The seminar will include sessions on:
- Making Sense of Key Performance Indicators.
- Effective Asset Management.
- What do the IFRS Changes to Capital Accounting mean For Local Authorities.
- tf. web 2.0. – Transforming operations with Timesheets and KPIs.
- Achieving Operational Efficiencies through interfacing key systems.

Scottish Seminar
We hosted our 7th Annual Scottish Seminar in Edinburgh in February 2010. Some of the topics covered included Capital Accounting, KPIs and achieving operational efficiencies. There was also a presentation from Carl Symons of the Shetland Islands Council who shared his vision for asset management. |

COPROP
The Technology Forge attended the annual COPROP Conference on the 7th and 8th December in Warwickshire at the Chesford Grange Hotel. This year's conference looked at asset management expectations for local government and overcoming the current economic recession. |

GovNet Asset Management 2009
TF attended the GovNet Asset Management 09 conference at the QEII Conference Centre in London on 25th November 2009. This year the conference included presentations on Assessing the Local Government Estate and Improving Strategic Asset Management as well as a wide range of seminars. TF were also proud sponsors of the conference. |

OGC Working Corporately - Exploiting Government property as a corporate asset
We enjoyed exhibiting at the Working Corporately Conference at the QEII on Friday 10 July 2009. The conference focused on the opportunities that can be realised through treating the Government estate as a corporate asset, both in terms of the way that departments collaborate on estates issues, and the way that central government engages with the wider public sector. |

RICS Local Government Conference 2009
The RICS Local Government Conference took place on the 17 June 2009 at The Mermaid Centre, London. The day focused on public sector asset management and the findings of the Audit Commissions Room for Improvement - Strategic Asset Management in Local Government Report. |

EBDOG
The biannual EBDOG Conference took place on the 7 and 8 May 2009. We were delighted to continue providing the booking technology behind the event, sponsor two trade stands and donate a selection of prizes for the charity raffle in aid of Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

ACES
The ACES Conference took place on the 14 and 15 May 2009. Our prize draw to win a selection of sustainable prizes including a Powermonkey Explorer and Solar Torch and Powerbank, proved very successful.

Scottish Seminar
The 6th annual TF Scottish Seminar was held on Thursday 12 February 2009 at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh North. Twelve authorities braved the snowy weather to attend a dynamic day focused on asset management delivered by the market leaders in asset management software. |
|
The seminar included a preview of the new tf. web, a visually rich application that enables users to share their property and asset management data with interested parties through an internet browser. There were also two workshop sessions focusing on Capital Accounting and Core Facts, followed by a case study on Shropshire County Council’s experience of implementing tf. facility. The day included plenty of time for networking. We’re delighted to say that the day received excellent feedback from all attendees:

The Technology Forge attended the annual COPROP Conference on the 17 October in Oxfordshire. This year's conference looked at current developments and trends in the management, design and use of public sector property. |

User Group
The annual Technology Forge User Group was on the 2 October in London. The day included a variety of presentations and a choice of interactive workshops. Everyone who attended found the day to be beneficial. |

Online DFC and Online Suitability Seminars

PSPE London

Comments: The Technology Forge will be exhibiting at the fourth annual PSPE (Public Service Property & Estates Conference) to be held on 5 February 2008 at the QEII Conference Centre, London. Organised by Public Service Events, the event is open to all delegates with an interest in public sector property and asset management in the UK.
The Conference will offer an insight into how best to manage efficiently and effectively a broad range of issues affecting property professionals. The day will feature a range of breakout seminars, including a discussion on Success Factors in Implementing a New AMP System from The Technology Forge’s Adam Watson. |

Pillar User Group
The Technology Forge enjoyed sponsoring the three regional Pillar Users Groups in January 2008. The User Groups focused on feedback from the DCSF, strategy for change, capital investment and a selection of workshop sessions. Comments: The conference focused on Creating Value through Public Sector Asset Management. The Technology Forge copresented a seminar with KEL Computing titled 'Asset Management & Valuations Software - To Invest or Dispose? - That is the question!'.
PSPE Scotland
Venue: SECC, Glasgow
Date: 28 November 2007
Comments: The PSPE conference focused on the management of public sector assets and is run in association with The Scottish Government. There was a wide choice of seminars for delegates to attend, including a joint presentation between The Technology Forge and KEL Computing on how investing in asset management and valuation software can benefit strategic property management.

Comments: The 5th annual Scottish Seminar had an excellent turnout with delegates representing 16 different organisations. There were four seminars throughout the day, each with a dedicated question and answer session, and an extended lunch break to provide ample time for networking.
