District Seminar Success
Last month The Technology Forge held the first of our regional AMP seminars in Manchester designed specifically with District councils in mind. The day was a great success with an excellent turnout. We were extremely pleased to receive such warm compliments and useful feedback;
‘Food for thought, direction and inspiration from all the presentations.’
‘Congratulations in providing an excellent seminar.’
‘Interesting to see different software solutions.’
By the end of the day, delegates stated that they had gained a clear picture of what can be done to boost and streamline their Asset Management plans and many were keen to ask about tf.facility lite, our cost-effective asset management solution aimed at smaller councils.
Presentations included North Somerset Council’s Jamie Longmuir who was profile the councils estate management experiences M squared asset management consultants provided a discussion on how district councils can prioritise spending and increase the efficiency of asset management plans. The Technology Forge demonstrated how our system tf. facility, can assist with the Strategic Management of your property portfolio in accordance with the DCLM.

The Technology Forge is excited to be hosting our fourth Scottish AMP seminar on 7 th September in Stirling at the Stirling Highland Hotel. Will such excellent feedback from last years seminar, the Technology Forge is looking forward to presenting some of our newest software releases, but the day also gives councils an opportunity to see our software in use with current clients.
Last year, authorities commented that the blend of software demonstration and asset management best practice made the day a success;
'It was good to see presentations from users as it gives us a chance to see where we're heading. tf. facility is a full package. I was impressed with the web based stuff as it tackles many problems we have’.
'We learnt alot and feel we can progress from it. I’m very busy so for me to give up a day and still say it was very good says it all’.
